It's the end of summer, so we had to celebrate this summer period. This was perfect since we had the chance to welcome several new brands to RADAR Cannes. To celebrate the new arrivals, we organized an event with one of the most famous DJs on the Côte d'Azur: DJ Lucky. Leader of Travis Scott's Afters Parties during his stays in the south of France, the atmosphere was great. Our customers were able to discover the new products by tasting the drinks made on site as well as enjoying the music provided by our two DJs. If you haven't had a chance to take advantage of this event, don't worry, we've got you covered. Here is a description of the three brands available in store now.
The first is Arte: a young brand from Belgium starting to make a name for itself in the fashion industry. Worn by many celebrities like Damso, Arte has become the “must-have” house of the moment. Elegant clean cuts bring the inspiration of designer Bertony Da Silva to life. Steeped in the artistic world, Da Silva is inspired by everything around him, from architecture to the offline world. This gives free rein to one's imagination and results in an ever more graphic collection. The Belgian brand is a mix of workwear and streetwear which makes it suitable for everyday wear. This season is inspired by Pixels: their graphics, their colors and the general world of digital, resulting in a saturated color range and unusual designs.
The second brand welcomed into our concept store is Daily Paper. This young brand started as a style blog, but soon readers wanted to see clothes from this young group of friends and not writing. They therefore moved from words to action and developed a brand under the name of their site revolving around their origins. Each of the three creators come from a different part of Africa, but all grew up in Europe. They therefore wanted to transcribe this experience sartorially by creating African-inspired pieces with European cuts. Every season is a journey and the A/W 2023 collection is no exception. This time it revolves around Somalia and artistic transmission, whether poetry or rap. Featuring prints, varied materials and details that tell a story, this collection is a real success. Neutral and earthy tones with a few flashy pieces for a pop of color during winter, there's something for everyone at Daily Paper.
The third and final brand we received for our RADAR Party is NN.07 a brand coming out of Copenhagen, although origins don't matter much to our new home. NN.07, meaning No Nationality was founded in 2007 by a group of friends after an inspiring trip to Tokyo. It is Japanese minimalism and perfectionism that will inspire their first collection. Immersing itself in communities at large, the Danish brand offers refined, high-quality pieces. “We believe in personalities and not nationalities. » Their motto allows us to understand that it is the character of each person that emerges through their creations. As Tom Ford said, the best fashion is when customers make designer designs their own, and NN.07 is the definition of that concept. Sober pieces that each customer can make their own to bring out their personality. Aiming to create pieces with a timeless transversality, their ultimate goal is to seduce with clothing designed for today but without forgetting tomorrow. Responsible materials and strong artistic direction, this European brand will breathe new life into your wardrobe.
