Black. The essence of timelessness. Monokel Eyewear makes the black colorway by mixing black ink with biodegradable raw cellulose acetate. Cellulose is the most common organic compound on planet Earth. They use cotton and wood pulp due to their high percentage of cellulose and low carbon footprint compared to similar synthetic fibers. The result is a highly durable, hypoallergenic material made from renewable resources.

Glasses:

The red tint of brown lenses improves depth perception and enhances contrast. These lenses are Category 1, which means they are not ideal for very sunny weather, but are perfect for overcast days or even to give your eyes a little more support indoors.
