Black. The essence of timelessness, but this time with a matte textured surface. The black colorway is made by mixing black ink with biodegradable raw cellulose acetate. Cellulose is the most common organic compound on planet Earth. They use cotton and wood pulp due to their high percentage of cellulose and low carbon footprint compared to similar synthetic fibers. The result is a highly durable, hypoallergenic material made from renewable resources.
Lenses
Airplane pilots of the 1930s are often credited with the popularity of green lenses, which they chose to wear because of their ability to perform in sunny or low-light environments while reducing glare and brightening shadows. All lenses are scratch and glare coated and provide 100% UVA/UVB protection. Made by renowned German lens and optics manufacturer Carl Zeiss.
